bruh how do most of your guys’s computer lag when you play the goddamn game I have a fucking hp laptop that can clearly run the game fine
laptop brands don't exactly matter, dude. While I can agree in some capacity your laptop has terrible specs compared to modern PCs now, but you're laptop isn't the worst out there. I've seen much worse to the point a literal potato runs better.
Also you have to take consideration of the graphic cards Video-Ram and your Memory Ram. If its not at least 4GB or higher, it could be problematic to run games correctly.
Plus there is also the Pixel Shader version and the DirectX version to take account to. It must be able to use Pixel Shader 5.0 and has the DirectX version 11.0

I am working on a guide to make the game controller compatible at the moment but the button mapping still needs a little bit of work 😋😋, since then I play the game with my controller.
When ever I put my sittings in low on 1.9 so it doesn't crash, it crashes anyway, but I did get it from a other website.

The file is on MediaFire for the people who downloaded the itch.io version, and I assume the same for Patreon. So what site did you get game from that directed you to Mega?

the games not supposed to be on F95Zone im pretty sure. Its only here, and on Patreon. The files you're downloading may be corrupted or it may hold a trojan. Just download from here my guy.
And when I played 1.8 for free, it did the same thing, just crashing.
Are you downloading via chrome browser?
Here is what i found that might help.
"If your Chrome downloads are stuck, it may be due to limited bandwidth, insufficient or a corrupted download cache. Ensure that you have a stable internet connection, clear your browser cache, restart your router or modem as well as your PC, and then try downloading the file."
Also only download on sites thats official like Itch, or Patreon if you are supporting the game. Other sites have pirated copies of the game, and can easily be corroupted.
This game is shit the puzzles are impossible to do also lag spikes rework the puzzles to make them easier or something cuz they are too hard for my small brain they r so annoying seriously I play this for 2 days and I had to uninstall till they improve the game.. easy difficulty is not easy at all. I really wanna play this game cuz I like it but it's impossible in the state it is in right now :(

I'm still learning the mechanics but I can't play the game like this it's fun but the puzzles are the worst shit ever. The lag spikes aren't that bad compared to puzzles, I only played like 3 nights on the arcade

Also i want to mention something it about the trailer on patreon about night 2 for some reason it lock for patreon member only last time when they made the trailer of the Christmas special part 2 and posted it on there patreon page it was open for everyone, also i notice this message with the video on patreon"thanks for you patience!" i believe there a reason why the trailer is lock for patreon member only (it only a theory) i think the new arcade mode 2.0 is in there with the trailer however i can't confirm it yet but i think that the reason why the trailer on patreon is lock.
You forgetting that they announced it as well on Discord, and placed it on youtube to see the trailer. So its not locked. The link to the trailer is on the Announcement channel.
When the Christmas special part 2 arrived it was in version 1.8, while the patreon got a updated content of the special and some skins for the arcade mode in the 1.9

Check on Discord, the trailer was both announced for Patreon AND Discord members who have access to the "#Announcements !" channel.
Its locked on Patreon because of spoiler of it, but it got released later for the public on Discord via the announcement. Thats what im getting at about it.

Im picking up items, but whenever I try to use them it tells me I dont have them? It's like I don't have an inventory *Arcade easy mode
I recommend you try pressing space (it makes your items show up, drag them to where you need to use them and release)

hey, so it's a fantastic game and absolutely love the graphics, just a small problem though, every time i try to open up arcade mode or at least try to press "go to work" button, my game keeps crashing, does anyone have a fix because i cant find any. thank you

You can try update your graphic cards driver to the latest version.
Have more ram on your computer. 4GB Ram and Video-Ram are the minimum requirements. Video-Ram is from your graphic card.
(To check what type of graphic card and how much Ram and Video-ram you have, you can try run dxdiag to get better info)
SSD (Solid State Drive) can improve gameplay, so try switch from running the game from the HDD (Hard Disk Drive) to SSD
If you want more help, you can try go to their discord and ask for help there.
P.S: Ive basicly just ben google searching for solutions about it.

no not really there is jumpscares but it's fine unless you get scared easy
There will be some jumpscare or scary parts in the game, but really tho its only in the Arcade mode thats likely going to have less scary stuff in it and more just jumpscare or rather jumplove? from being caught. The Story mode may have more scary moments when the 2.0 update arrive.

Well for what I have seen in the trailer the new night 2 will be very terrifying 😰😰😨😨 with chiku chasing us with a knife 🔪it sounds more haunted, But I do wonder how the new night 1 will look with this update I hope it not as jumpy as night 2😅😅.

The 2.0 only have arcade mode available for now, the story mode is not finish yet it will done in September.
Unless the trailer WAS the only thing they were going to post, but we can only wait and see.

The voting poll they had seemed to be based around news and not on updates, but then again the voting in question felt like it was based around splitting the content of the update in two.

Apparently, the 2.0 update will have new stuff in the Arcade mode, but the Night 2 in story mode is going to be updated first in September. Probably before the end of September . My guess is that they not done with the hole update, so to make it quick on release, they adding the Arcade mode stuff first, then the story later.

I try to play arcade mode but my game crashes every time. I've turned down the grapics, turned off post processing, and fixed res but it won't work. Any ideas to help? (0.1.8/9)
Its speculated that 1.8 has a bug in the arcade mode.
1.9 on Patreon seems to be fixed for it, but the update for it to be released on Itch is still unknown for now.
They doing a big update for 2.0 version, because they reworking the game with character design, scenery and re-creating Story mode Night 1 and 2. So when 2.0 is done and ready for Patreon, the 1.9 should arrive later after it.
So, should I wait for 1.19 or use an older version? And if so, can you tell me how to get them?
Better wait, since the update for 2.0 seems to arrive soon, so probably next week you can get to play the 1.9 when it arrives on Itch.
Or if you feeling supportive, you can support them on Patreon at tier 3 in order to play the recent version available.
I’ve tried out 1.19 and it still happens, although I didn’t change settings. To describe what happens, sound stops when I get into the arcade mode menu and when I try to play, it either lodes a little then a pop up with the icon and an “!” Pops up or it just closes. Anything to do with that?
Edit: Thank you for your help, but ended up downgrading to 1.16 and now it works. I don’t know why but 1.17 loaded but crashes after. I hope I can get them to work in the future though.

I don't know why you're accusing me of pirating? I'm on version 1.7 (was the current version when I first played) and now I'm updating to 1.8 (both of which were acquired here on the official Itch.io page) and just wanted to make sure when I updated to version 1.8 that it didn't overwrite my progress for whatever reason. I just wanted to check to be sure is all :/
Again, not really sure what part of my question inferred I was pirating the game and the need for inflammatory comments for no reason.

Not you they accusing. Someone else who recently got banned for showing links to a pirated site stealing content from Patreon creators. They got banned for not only sharing links to the site, they shared info about it too.

hey dude... that's what updating means. It means to bring the game to a more "up-to-date" version.
You should be fine. The files the game reads aren't redownloaded. The game reads a certain directory elsewhere which your progress, money, etc should be left untouched.
