I would recommend to just subscribe to their patreon so you get all the updates. The discord is a bit weird because of the verification stuff going on there.

If you played part 1 in another version you probably need to play it again in the 0.1.9 update since you can only play the second part after finishing the first one.
0.1.9 has the second part.

when you download the file from the website, you should have it saved in a .zip file (if you have winrar), then you need to unpack this .zip file and you will get a normal folder, when you enter it, there should be a game icon there or if you don't have an icon, there should be a name anyway games (FAP NIGHTS AT FRENNIs.exe)

they are locked for specific versions. With every new update they get unlocked und u can get them.

Well now someone else found the cucumber counter, i found it a little while back in the 1.9 update i believe that item will play a role in Marie shop in the future because i found the same icon in her shop in the 2.0 update on YouTube here a screenshot
I think in the future update when they finally finish the Christmas special that item will be scattered all around and well hidden in certain locations that my theory.

With night 2 done, will arcade mode be update with new areas that we saw in night 2?
Actually they are working on arcade mode as we speak, at the moment the only thing i have heard they are adding the new night guard in this mode but if they are adding new areas to it as well that it is unknown all we have to do is wait and see if they add new areas.
