Hmm, maybe the problem is that your anti-virus is preventing you from downloading specific files from the game.
But if not, maybe it's a bug or a really bad glitch from the game, I recommend waiting and downloading the next version of the game and see if it fixes the problem^^
(Note, If you have downloaded the 1.8 from Patreon, the game has tons and I really do mean TONS of bugs in it which sometimes causes the game to be really hard to play sometimes, let's just hope it will be fixed on the next version)

Took that from discord´s pinned messages, but it might just be missing files due to anti-virus scanners blocking some files when extracting. Whitelist the folder and location when extracting to that location you want. The game is safe, its just that virus scanners can have hard times detecting if the content is from a confirmed developer, so they automatic flag it unsafe.
If you're playing on either 1.8 or 1.7, it's very common for your game to crash due to the high amount of graphics needed to run this game. I recommend lowering it to the minimum and see if that fixes it.
Are you trying to play it via the itch.io app? Try play it without the app if so. Also make sure if the files arent blocked by anti-virus scanners. Whitelist the folder and its location if needed
Added Menu buttons in shop: skin, items, etc. so u don't need to waste ur time looking for what u want to buy. In previous versions it was just a line with all stuff.
For skins they added a few costumes for girls and also for Marie, in the next versions they probably add costumes for Golden.

First of all there are a lot of reasons the world has problems currently. most of them far beyond the people who have fetishes YOU deem horrible, so no its not every time. Secondly games themselves are not effected by people with fetishes you deem horrible. if you simply do something called "ignoring" the people with fetishes you deem horrible then your gaming experience will be however you like it to be.
It's people like you who will go out of their way to target something they don't like when that thing is something that thing can be ignored or not looked at. therefor you are going against basic logic and common sense and are getting mad over nothing.
1.6-1.7 Ver: Whenever you hear Krampus, just make sure to not get too close on the turns and get ready to spray and run until you're as far away from her (Equip the spray in your inventory as soon as you spawn)
1.8 Ver: (If your game is glitched out and can't use the spray, make sure to turn on easy mode since you basically don't get any extra reward doing any other difficulties) As soon as you hear Krampus, go run in the opposite direction or hide in a corner 'till she goes away. Always be cautious on making turns when you hear her, since the spray is not there to help you anymore.
Remember: You're bound to encounter Krampus twice or more in every run no matter how good you are on avoiding her. So always be alert to either run or spray.
Honestly? I don't even know man, The days where Fatal Fire says they'll release the new version usually isn't true and they release it around 10 days later :/
It's used to unlock scenes from the kitchen! (Christmas decoration & Candies are needed in order to get the scenes) I highly recommend watching RoseMark's videos on YouTube to see the step by step on how to unlock them.
Might be some missing files to the game. But just incase it isnt: is it the first time you try play the game? If so, you should check if the folder and its content isnt blocked by anti-virus scanner. Whitelist the folder and its location, if its blocking files from being extracted.

Not yet sure, but most likely the developer of the game will consider uploading it on Steam to gain more popularity.

Whenever I try to play arcade mode or xxxmas special, the game just crashes. Am I missing something or is the game just not working?

you just download the new file and then you get it and you wont loose data
Your saves and data is saved on the appdata folder, so you wont have to worry about losing saves or data when downloading a updated version.
