Hmm, maybe the problem is that your anti-virus is preventing you from downloading specific files from the game.
But if not, maybe it's a bug or a really bad glitch from the game, I recommend waiting and downloading the next version of the game and see if it fixes the problem^^
(Note, If you have downloaded the 1.8 from Patreon, the game has tons and I really do mean TONS of bugs in it which sometimes causes the game to be really hard to play sometimes, let's just hope it will be fixed on the next version)

Took that from discord´s pinned messages, but it might just be missing files due to anti-virus scanners blocking some files when extracting. Whitelist the folder and location when extracting to that location you want. The game is safe, its just that virus scanners can have hard times detecting if the content is from a confirmed developer, so they automatic flag it unsafe.

For skins they added a few costumes for girls and also for Marie, in the next versions they probably add costumes for Golden.

Now for the costumes well i am glade that marie is getting some new outfits, as for golden frenni getting new costumes in the next update well we will have to wait and see the one thing i am very hype for is the new "Night 2" that is coming in the next update from what i heard chiku will play a big part in this new chapter of the game.

Huh, I've been encountering the same exact bugs you've been facing lol. But there's also this one bug where whenever you finish a night in arcade mode it crashes about 80% of the time (Even worse if it crashes while you were unlocking a cut scene which will result to you not unlocking any other cutscenes until the next version which happened to me)
But omg the spray can bug is so damn annoying, I had to learn to avoid Krampus without the damn spray and it was dreadful.
It has a small chance of happening. but what is even weirder is when I gathered the guts to look I noticed every time I go to the sound it is behind me and is almost impossible to pinpoint the origin and I believe this was intentional.

Maybe try redownloading the game, most likely some of the textures needed from the game wasn't added

Whenever I try to play arcade mode or xxxmas special, the game just crashes. Am I missing something or is the game just not working?

you just download the new file and then you get it and you wont loose data
Your saves and data is saved on the appdata folder, so you wont have to worry about losing saves or data when downloading a updated version.

In arcade mode, when the power is off - the doors can not be opened.
When you turn on the generator - can not start Frenni and Chica, because the buttons disappear.
In Christmas you can not use the spray can, because the button for it does not appear.
In past versions, everything worked like clockwork, but lagged badly. Now the game runs smoothly, but there are a lot of bugs.
